Ok, I know of Sublime Stitching and Urban Threads, but is there more sites that provide hand embroidery patterns, that are download-able?  I like UT best, for some reason, but I'm itching to see what else is out there and my search engine is NOT cutting it.
You could try here: http://www.needlenthread.com/2006/06/free-hand-embroidery-patterns-index.html

And actually, looking up coloring book pages for the subject you want to embroider will return good results too.
I haven't been following the thread all that well, as haven't been getting notifications on top of computer problems, but have you looked at this thread? https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=8201.870

OK - so...  bummer.  I'm not sending this week like I had kinda sorta planned on.  Someone at home wants to see the project before I pack it up and send it on its way.  Which is fine because I have to go back to NC for the weekend and I'll send it out probably Tuesday of next week (I'm expecting the PO to be closed on Monday for the Fourth of July).  But I'm still excited that its done.  Cheesy

Okay, anyone else have one of those moments, where you look down at your project and go..."son of a**^%$%^, this is just plain ugly?". yeah well i had one of those moments. The concept was good I swear and the first layer worked out great and then it just went downhill from there.

I tried adding, then my thread puller and I became close friends. Nothing is going to salvage this piece of ____.  Therefore, have found new idea, have drawn it out and I am starting over. I will still send out on time CraftylittleMonkey! Promise!

kjbaloo- Why can't they just look like the pictures in our head say they will?  It would solve a lot of stress that way.

Getting creative and wishing that my schedule was different than it is.  Will have to finish this swap on the road unless I can manage to do a crafting blitz over the next few days.

Right, well i am still alive, after all the excitement of my birthday and everyone wanting to see me I sat down and got started with my planned design this evening and after 3 failed attempts im in a state of complete and utter turmoil. I've put it down tonight and plan to try again tomorrow!
