This is a necklace that honestly came out of nowhere. I have a ton of semi precious stone chips that i've been using to make tree of life pendants. If you've ever made the TOL, you realize how tedious and time consuming it can be. Instead I just tried to use some of the same techniques to make something a little more light hearted and fun.

The stone chips are quartz I believe. The outside ring is actually just a spacer that I found at the craft store. Using a piece of memory wire, I made the inside curve of the moon and attached it to the ring. From there I strung the stone chips around using 24g wire.

I couldn't resist putting a star with it so I dug out an old necklace with some charms on it and gave one a new home. I just used the wire to attach a closed jump ring to the top of the ring and wrapped it around a few times.

Hope you guys like it. Comments greatly appreciated!

I LOVE this and think you did a great job and if you need a loving home for it, I know someone who would take good care of it! *wink*!

I am always open to personal swaps...I'm always on the lookout for new bags, shawls, punk/steampunk accessories, Altoids tins, etc. As a professional illustrator/fine artist, I can offer something crafty, or something more artsy. Let's talk!

Really really pretty! I would totally buy this!  I tried one tree of life necklace, I didn't realize how tedious it actually is!

Very Nice! I love it the stone are just the right color for the moon too! You did excellent!

May a sunbeam warm you, a moonbeam charm you, and a craft idea hit like monkeys flinging poo.
