Iíve always liked stripesĖ-I love to see the patterns of lines juxtaposed with an organic human form. I think this contrast is very approachable in bright colors, especially when they match my bicycle.

The fabric is a thin jersey, with the darker teal almost as thin as a burn-out. Itís very stretchy and also drapes beautifully, so itís very flattering to different bodies. Thatís right, different bodies, because I made two of these shirts.

The keyhole neck has a striped loop and a ruby button, a decision inspired by Jasonís love of the fabulous. This was an important part of the design but I wasnít completely sure about it until I wore the shirt out and about, and now Iím glad I went with my instinct.

By the way, as always, there was no pattern involved.

There's a bit more information on my website!

Thanks guys! Stay tuned, because eventually I will make a post focusing completely on my bike. I've done all the work myself, and it's a never-ending project (which makes me love it even more!)

That is so very cute. I love how you used the stripes in both directions... and the button loop is so cute.  Smiley

This is great! I love the blues paired with the red button. The fit and vertical stripes are so flattering.
