My dog Blitzkrieg has a toybox downstairs. Upstairs is another matter. His toys lay
artfully strewn all over our bedroom floor because he fancies himself a decorator.

I needed a solution. I didn't want those bone shaped dog toy boxes at the store. Not only are they cheesy but they have lids. I wanted my dog to be able to pick up a toy on his own from his toybox when I tell him to go get Lion or some such toy.

Yes, my dog knows his toys by name. He's brilliant.

I found a large shallow dish at Target on Clearance that I passed up. Low and behold a little while later I was at Goodwill and came across the same large shallow Target dish marked down for stupid cheap. OK, I'll take it.

I put Blitzkrieg's toys in the dish in my bedroom. No more stepping on toys in the middle of the night!

Did you do anything to the dish? Paint it? Spruce it up?
