Wednesday, June 30th

Today Kingsley and I took a road trip from North Carolina (where I had been visiting my brother) to New Jersey.  Will post some pics here and on the blog tonight when I get home from work.  Also coming soon?  Pics from my brother's wedding (which was this past Friday).

Saturday, June 12th

This weekend Kingsley accompanied me up to Boston to attend my five year university reunion at Brandeis.  I have some cool pics from this trip but I am saving them as a surprise for the scrapbook.

Saturday, June 5th

Today Kingsley and I went into New York to visit a friend!  Afterwards, we took some scenic photos by the Hudson River.  Here's one of the photos (the rest are on the blog!):





Friday, June 4th

Kinglsey has arrived!  Check out all the cool stamps on the envelope!



As soon as I opened up the envelope, Kinglsey bounded out!



He's such a gorgeous horse!  It must be his elfin blood that gives him such natural beauty!  After I had a chance to visit with Kingsley for a few, I checked out some of the other stuff that came with him, like this awesome passport!





And check it out, he's already got a second stamp in it for his arrival into the US!



Kinglsey soon inquired if there were any other animals in the house, and I apologized for forgetting my manners and quickly introduced him to Beatrix.



Then, because it was Friday, and we were all tired from working (or traveling) all week, we settled in to relax and watch some Angel (which I've been rewatching lately for the first time since it aired on TV).



Hopefully the weather will be nice tomorrow and we can get out into town and Kingsley can start to see some stuff!

Anyway, just glad he's here!!!

6/30. Back from a week in Montreal Quebec.  So many great photos but here's a little taste

Walter hits it big at the Casino du Montreal, he found this machine that you put in your bank card, enter a few number and it spits out loads of money, as much as you tell it too.  He developed a very nouveau riche attitude the rest of the trip.  His tune will change when he sees his next bank statement!

6/18 More Photos forthcoming.  We are leaving for Montreal and look forward to taking pictures in CANADA, eating some crepes, listening to some jazz, buying overpriced maple syrup and partaking in other generally touristy things to do.

26th May
After a long journey, Gus arrives in England. He is welcomed with a can of Fosters.
 

28th May
Gus has been chilling out at home for the first few days whilst he gets settled in. Here he is sporting a new hat and scarf combo I made him!


30th May
Today Gus came with us on a trip to Canterbury. There we did some shopping, looked at all the old buildings and even saw a medieval witches ducking chair. Gus also tried to phone home from an old fashioned telephone booth, but couldn't remember the number...
   

8th June
Today Gus accompanied me to the dentist. She was very kind and let Gus sit in the chair...


12th June
Today Gus came along with my Mum and I to Southend. There we did some shopping, saw the longest pier in the world, visited the amusement park and the arcades.
       

15th June
Gus came along with my brother and I to see the mighty Aerosmith at The O2 Arena on Tuesday 15th June


19th June
Second show of the week - Green Day at Wembley Stadium!


10th July
Gus went on a day trip to London on Saturday, it was a very hot day! I've put some photos up on here but am saving most for his scrapbook


16th July
Gus came shopping with us today. He was very helpful with carrying the bags and unpacking everything when we got home We also visited St. Martins Church, which is also in the town centre.

Piccolo and I have been hanging out around the house watching Glee with friends and making her a new outfit.


We also went out to dinner with my parents for my birthday.

Piccolo is home from Disneyland!  My friend offered to take her with her and took some really cute pictures!  The rest are on P2's facebook.

May 19
Piccolo has arrived!  Since I have to send late(omw to the post office in an hour or so), the two girls got to meet.  Here they are discussing their excitement for the summer.


And here is Piccolo relaxing at lunch after her trip.  She is enjoying a glass of iced tea and trying some edamame.

More pics of our summer with Miles!!

Here we are downtown at the Rose Festival and Satruday Market!  Saw so many neat things, and fun rides.  Miles didn't want to go on any rides this time.  He said he had enough when he went on all the rides with my daughter a couple days before.


Here we are on our the first stop of our road trip.  Just south of Lincoln City.  Breakfast time!!


Here is a Wayside we stopped at on the first day.  Miles wanted to get a look at the star fish.  There were TONS of starfish there!  I don't think I have ever seen that many.  Thankfully it was low tide when we stopped!


Here we are at Descanso Beach club on Catalina Island where my mom lives.  That's the casino in the background.  It's pretty cool.  The top is a ballroom, and beneath that is the movie theatre.  It's supposed to be haunted to.


And here we are at Disneyland.  Here is Miles standing in front of Mickey and Walt's statue with his Mickey Mouse ears.  (You can't go to disneyland and NOT get Mickey Mouse ears!!)



It's been a while since I've been able to post pics, but I just wanted to post a couple of a friend Miles made.  They were so cute together!!

Miles met Jackob Black from the Twilight series.  He was glad to meet him to, after seeing the sock monkey vampire that had moved in with his family, they had a long talk

and Jacob helped Miles feel much better about it.  I was glad Jacob got to talk to Miles before he went to his new home.  Miles is now eager to meet vampire sock monkey when he gets back  home!

I will post more pics soon.  It's late and I'm getting tired.  Miles is having a blast here in Oregon!

Miles arrive today!!!!  He was glad to get out of that package.  He even brought treats for us! (click on pictures to enlarge)
