Just getting back into sewing after several years away, and this is the first project I've posted. This is a Zippy Wallet I made from the Zippy Wallet Tutorial found here:

http://noodleheads.blogspot.com/2009/10/zippy-wallet-tutorial.html

Easy to make, easy to follow. Made this one for my daughter.

Love your NoodleHead zippy!
I made a few of them too!  I'm thinking of making more for my nieces & sisters for when I see them next month - we'll se how time treats me though!

Thanks for the comments, everyone.

A gift idea: put a gift card in the front pocket (and, of course, a penny in the change pocket!).  I'm going to make a few more to keep on hand for presents w/gift cards.

Wow, was in the middle of posting a reply and got kicked out. Hmmm, well here goes again.
I am just now in the middle of making my first zippy wallet or any wallet for that matter.  The only thing is  I am a little confused about the snap.  Huh I am use to putting  snaps on  totes or bags I make before they the bags are put together. That way the backs are hidden. But these directions do it at the end? But I have never made a wallet before so I will do like the instructions say.  All the pics I have seen of the zippys look great so I am guessing the back of the snap does not show up anyway. Well maybe on the  tab.?  Anyway, I will post as soon as I am done. I have it all cut out and am ready to start sewing. This was my little break.. Sure hope it turns out as good as yours!!!!
