I normally stick to making clothes, but my BF got his own flat a few weeks ago and has finally moved out of home.  He has furniture but none of the niceties - and TBH he wouldn't get them on his own!  So I'm making him some cushions and table mats etc.  There isn't really anything special about them but I absolutely love the fabric so I thought I would share Smiley  There will eventually be 3 cushions, 6 tablemats, 6 napkins and a table runner, but I've run out of the fabric so I'm stalled until I can go and get some more.

Sweet!  Where did you get the fabric?  I think its awesome that you are making the house "loved".

What a great idea for this stuff!

I have some of that same fabric with smaller print. I used it with some purple minky for my kids beds. I love Ikea fabric!!

Thanks guys.  Ikea fabric is brilliant!  I'd been eyeing this stuff for a while, but I already have so many cushions etc that I couldn't really justify it for myself.  I get to visit it now tho Smiley

His place definitely needs "loved", it's straight out of an Ikea showroom and it looks a bit like no-one lives there.  And he eats frozen pizza or gets me/his Mum to feed him, so the next task will be teaching him how to cook!
