I'm dying or my lavender plants to bloom again, even thought I know it will still be months until they do.  But the thought inspired me to pay tribute to my favorite herb on my finger nails.  Enjoy!

It was pretty simple.  Base coat, then a lilac colored tip (2 coats).  White line curled up into the lilac, a white line curve down towards the nail bed.  Finally, 5 littles dots of a deep purple at the tip of each white line.  Two coats of top coat and viola! Thanx for looking!!

So pretty! I'm no good at using my left hand so I never end up doing nail art on myself. I envy your ability

Thanx! It took a lot of practice. I'm left handed, so I find it sometimes easier to brace my right hand (holding the polish) and move my left nail under the brush instead of actually painting it on with my right.  I'm VERY left handed.  So much so, my Dad always said if I lost my left hand I'd starve Smiley

How pretty they look. I have tried to do my nails and I am not very good at it.  I am so bad I even gave up trying, but you can do my nails any day too.

Your very talented when  such a close up looks so awesome.

I envy you! I can't even apply a clean solid color.  Yours is nice and clean!  Smiley

When I'm not making crafts, I'm dreaming them up!

Thanks everyone! I promise, it just takes practice.  I do my nails at least once a week.  And that pretty much how it's been since I was 13 (so, like 15 years now).  Sometimes they're not so great, but often they are Smiley  I always just feel better, prettier, more feminine with my nails painted.
