My friend is graduating college next week and I wanted to give her money, but as a crafter I figured that was too boring. My husband graduated with his Master's in December from the same school and we still had the cap lying around the house. I figured the cap would be perfect as it was obviously the right color scheme. So, long behold here I have a money tree but really a graduation money cap.

I used a thin nail to poke holes through that thick cardboard. 2 holes per dollar slot. Then I stuck floral wire through and wrapped around the money. I'm hoping she will like it.

That has got to be one of the silliest looking hats ever, but the best idea for a graduation gift ever. Congratulations. I hope she appreciates this. I sure do.

haha, thank you so much. It is pretty silly looking and I can't imagine she would actually wear it, I just want to see her try to get the money off, it's tied pretty tight with all the wire  Grin.

Haha, it's really a great and funny idea. I think your friend will like it very much. I wish that I could know your idea sooner, so that I could make one for myself, since I had a graduation ceremony in the last week Sad

When I'm not making crafts, I'm dreaming them up!
