I for some ridiculous reason bought a pack of 30 plain headbands and set myself the goal of decorating all of them along with some of the huge packet of plain hairclips that I bought too. As well as take pictures of all of them. And all over the course of the one week of break I had from college. So needless to say over the course of spring break, my house (my room in particular) looked more like a sweatshop than anything else. Well a one person sweatshop that is xD.

But I'm proud to say that I did in fact get all 30 headbands done and mostly photographed, and got some clips done too! And now I'm here to show off all they're prettiness! xD Just looking through all of these pictures makes me happy. Definitely worth poking 1/2 of my fingers with a needle, and almost burning the other 1/2 I think Smiley.

So they're all my babies, and I have a hard time picking a favorite, so I'm gonna warn you in advance that this post is going to be very pic obese.

If I was forced to pick a favorite I'd probably say this one (shush don't tell the other headbands xD), The poof headbands were probably some of the most painful ones to make, and definitely took the longest, but I love how they all came out.

This is one of the clips I made Smiley. I love the colors. To be honest xD I didn't even pick them out myself. I intended to, but my dad drove me to the fabric store, and he loves colors so asked me if he could help xD so I couldn't say no. I'm glad I did though Smiley He has very good taste I think.

My photography skills kind of failed on this one (a perfectly white background somehow turned sky blue), and I can't even blame it on the camera because I was using my dad's brand new DSLR (which was a dream to take pictures with by the way), but I love how the red beads on this one reflect in the sunlight.

This one reminds me of maybe a lavender peppermint candy with all of its stripeyness. It makes me smile but I'm not sure why. I guess I just like color.

This is the only one that I made in a spiralling style. Well actually that's not true. I made a really cute clip that matched but came out messy because I made it first and was experimenting so I decided to just keep it, but it fell out of my bag when I was out shopping Sad

And here are a couple shots of my awesome friends who agreed to model them for me and who I think did a pretty good job at it Cheesy

Another one of my poof headbands, but this one is a bit bigger and brighter. All these pics were taken in my super green backyard back home.

I like this one, it looks so sweet in this picture.

And to round things off Ill put in a group photo Smiley

Hope you enjoyed! (Haha I love how my descriptions for each pic get shorter as you get further and further down the post xD)

Looks like a lot of work, and thank you for putting them all in one post. I think they are all equally beautiful as you would choose your outfit based on your mood, this is just a way of saying this is who I am today. Cool

I have a split personality, because you guys crack me up.  AND The best day I ever had was TODAY!

Haha, I didn't wanna put them in like 50 different posts or anything because this isn't even all of them. I know! I would totally keep every single one of them because they're so much fun, and like you said you can switch them out according to your mood. I'm kind of regretting not stealing one and bringing it back to school.

Wow so pretty! Did you burn the edges on the brown one to get that darker effect?

Actually they've all been singed on the edges so that they don't unravel, but not to the point that the edges get burnt, just to slightly melt the edges. For the brown, I think because the color was darker the edges just darkened when it melted.

Very pretty! I love the ones with burnt edges. Are they satin? So girly!

I love them all, the first poof one is really cute, and the last yellow one is so pretty too, but all of them look just wonderful. I would say that the poking and burning is worth it, they turned out so well. And how great is it to have a father that knows colours, mine is changing the kitchen and it's all grey, he is so dull XD
