Knit, Sew, Spin but Pug Love Is Best

There was only one project in "One-Yard Wonders" that captured my attention -- the Flouncy Bag.  I love purses and this was a shape I had not seen before.  This is my version.  Took a bit more than one yard, but the basic pattern idea is here. Added a bunch of interior pockets, outside slip pocket for cellphone, cross-body strap as well as shoulder handles. Also added zip top for security.  Forgive the "unclipped" threads still inside the interior photo.

LOVE LOVE! I was just looking at that book the other day and drooling over it. What a pretty bag! Any chance of an action shot?

That's lovely. I like the bright red zip; I'm always trying to perfectly match the zip to the fabric but this shows that sometimes a contrast is better!
