When I saw this post: https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=297821.0 by user alvan I fell in love! Coincidentally, a few weeks after seeing that post I found a 100% Lambswool sweater by Aeropostale (or one of those other stores that I never shop in) at a second-hand store. (Sorry no Before pics) Basically it was a long sleeve, knitted turtleneck that was a dark and a light green yarn. Very pretty to begin with, even prettier after felted!
I knew my cousin would love it Smiley
So I got to work... It took me ages to finish this! Only out of lack of motivation. I finished it last night.
Here it is:

And on the back of my head...

And me!

I really hope she likes it! Green is her favorite color. It was supposed to be a Christmas gift... I guess that would give you an idea of how long I've been working on this  Roll Eyes

Anyway, thanks for looking Smiley

Glad I could help! Cheesy It does seem to hide itself away when you're looking for it most. I had to scour every single one of my bookmarks till I found it!

It looks great!   You did a great job of the construction and you have a good eye for colour, that shade of green is sublime!

I hadn't seen the original before, so thank you for linking to the pattern!!  I totally love the shade of green you chose, and thanks for all the different photo angles -- the hat is so adorable!

It is better to have crafted and failed then never to have crafted at all.
Yes, I am stalking the Toys and Playthings board. Thanks for noticing!
I'm cheating on Craftster with Pinterest. It's ok though. There's overlap.
