Well, here is the latest finished painting. This one took me through a rough spot. I was actually working on this one (painting the little cartwheeling person in the corner) when some very awful news was dropped on me. It went through some amazing changes before I finally finished it last night. Anyhow, I thought I would share it with you.

Thank you. I have recently started using oils and I love the way they feel and blend. This was one of those paintings that just didn't look finished for quite some time. There was just this moment the other night when I did a final brush stroke and said, "It's DONE!"  Then I had a glass of wine and a cigarette! Nice.

Thank you! That is the fun of my paintings! I hang them on the wall and then everyone see's faces in them! Smiley I used a mixture of oils and acrylics. I have a huge collection of tubes and bottles and just sort of grab what appeals to me as I go along. Like most of all of my paintings, this one has many layers! It is STILL drying!
