This is a cake for my boyfriend and I - we are celebrating our 4 year anniversary. It is a carrot cake with cream cheeze frosting and fake blood (brown rice syrup melted down with red food coloring paste). ALL VEGAN OF COURSE! My recipe is very similar to the vegan carrot cake recipe found on about.com that I have posted the link to before.

I actually made a choc cake the other day for my parents and I used the same heart shaped cakes tins!!!

Can I ask where you found red food dye, as I haven't had any luck finding red food dye that is vegan.
