I would love love love to make a little art quilt for my dh.

The trouble is, the only thing he really loves is zombies

I would like to come up with something zombie inspired, but I am drawing a complete blank.

Any ideas (or even pics of zombie crafts you like) would really be appreciated.

To give you an idea of what I can do, these are my two favourite pieces:

I'm a fan of this laptop sleeve. I think it would make an awsome quilt.

If you want to go simple. You could totally play up the background too.

Really detailed (and creepy to some)

The old school Dawn of the Dead head design would make a cool quilt

OR the girl from the original Night of the Living Dead. I've seen her as a stencil a lot

Sorry for all the etsy links, I have a lot saved in my favorites  Wink

I have a friend who has a thing for zombies too, so I made a stenciled shirt for him, and a "kit" with a helmet, a copy of the zombie survival guide, some anti-zombie weaponry (toy rifle, machete, etc), and canned goods and water in case he needs to hole up in shelter.

Here is the book I ordered:

There are others who made the wall boxed survival kits, but I did not have the time or energy for that at the time.

I know I posted the projects somewhere here, but I can't find them, except in the FOC section.

If you are interested in the stencil for the shirt, I adapted that from the emblem at the back of the book and can forward that to you if you want (I think I have it saved)

Woops - sorry, I fixated on the likes zombies part, and not on what you wanted to make
