no it's not, and even if it were, the cuts are not near you or your skin, so you wouldn't be hurt.  and a lot of people have a misconception about aluminum when it's cut.  it's no sharper, really, than paper, if it's cut well.  if you cut it with metal shears, you don't have to worry about the little slivers.

but on these tabs, you just give it a good cut and you've cut a slit in the tab...no sharps, no slivers, no nothin'!
