I am working on the handle too, I think 5 rows are too narrow, it doesn't look like the pics at all.  I am thinking to add 2 or 3 more rows.

And next time I won't use smaller hook as the pattern suggests, it takes forever with the smaller hook, but Sugar N Cream doesn't like that either.   Sad

Just sew the handle temporary, and I think 5 rows for the handle looks great.

I will sew a button, so the stuff in the bag won't fall off.   I am not going to have flowers on the purse, i think it will be too much.  (have button & flowers)

I think I like it better with cotton yarn I'm going to start over with my sugar n cream cone in neutral. I have no idea to do with that wacky yarn I was using...ideas?

I like cotton too, I just wish it is less stiff!

I will do the lining and button tomorrow.  And then sew the handle.

wow, you guys are a lot further than me, I'm not even done with the main body yet, but I'm about 3/4 there.

I think the cotton has a good drape & feels sturdy.
I might line it when I'm done with maybe some joel dewberry..the woodgrain pattern.  We'll see.

I decided not to do the lining, it is too difficult, if you want to do lining, better do it before crochet the handles.  And I bought a magnetic snaps online, I will post more pics after I finished.

Looks great!  I love the colors you picked for the flowers.

Mine's all done too, I weaved in all the ends yesterday... I will get some pictures of it today!

Hi Zelda,

Looks great.  I am glad that I sized up my bag, yours looks very small.
