I'm taking a stained glass class.  We started with lead and here are the results of my first stained glass attempt (pattern was one used by the class).   We start a few sessions on foiling starting in May.  Stained glass is so rewarding!!  I'm currently working on my third piece (a different pattern...still tulips, but more intricate), but I ran out of lead...it's so frusterating that my class/the nearest glass shop is 55 minutes away and I just don't have time during the week to run and get more glass/ lead/ supplies!

Anyway...here's the pic!

This isn't Kansas, and I'm not wearing red shoes.

Very pretty! I especially like the red flower with the blue border.

oooo! I like that! I have really been wanting to take a stained glass class. I would love to do that. When I looked into it here, it is expensive! Did you take it through your community or at school? I'm not sure if they teach it at school or not. But I want to!
