Hi all,

I'm pretty new to baking and I've been wanting to bake a lemon meringue pie. However, my electric beater died Sad, and so now I'm left with just a whisk and a bowl. Would anyone know the best way to hand beat meringue?  Huh

Thanks so much!!

Meringues have been made long before electricity was discovered. Hand whisking, while it can be hard work, works. If you do a search on meringue+whisk, you can get some pointers. Smiley

Go for it! It's very satisfying once complete. Not only will you have an awesome pie but you'll feel totally guilt-free about eating it since it required such a workout to make!
