Bad, bad crafting week- my dad has been really sick, and I haven;t had a chance to really focus. Even when i have a few minutes, I'm not really thinking about the project at hand.

I am still here and crafting. I got something for package 2 the other day. Been busy this last week, so not alot of crafting has gotten done. I have plans for everything in package 2, just need to set about doing them.

i have all of package 2 planned...just havent had time to work on it. =/ i'm hoping to have a little time tomorrow night to do something.  i am getting work done on package three which i am estimating will take me about 12+ hours to finish, total time.  i seem to be working on it for 1/2 to an hour a day, two or three days a week.

Other than my laptop being on the shelf needing a new pluggy bit after being leaped on by my puppy (I know I shouldn't have left it where he could leap on it) I have been finding it trickier to get to the internet as often, still regular but not as often...so hoping that should be resolved soon, though still waiting on parts...

Package two however is coming along nicely, I got to do some more work over the weekend on another bigish project that took me a while, have got to finish one more thing off and then I will be ready to send...yay...so hoping to finish that this week...

Dancer4ever hoping your doggy can stand for even longer now and is doing okay...

Checking in - finally made some progress on package # 2. I've been working on paid stuff, so not much time for crafting this past week.

Dancer4Ever, glad to hear your dog is doing better!

I went and got more fabric and I'll be damned if I cut it wrong again!!!!  This time in the wrong direction.  I thought the sewing gods were totally hating me, or senior moments are coming waaaaay too early.   I had no choice but to get out the first one that I'd cut too short, and re-do it in a different way.  I mean I could not bring myself to tell the husband I had to go and get YET MORE fabric!
Make it work, as Tim would say.  This meant doing some techniques I've never done before.  Now I know that the sewing gods just messed with my mind in order to get me out of my comfort zone and try something new.
And it worked!  Phew - the most time consuming, expensive  &^$*%#@ _______  _______  _______ ever sewn!!   Now on to the last simple little thing and I'm done!  My partner might get her package for her birthday!

BTW my mediums always, but always take the time of a large.  I always have a touch of Murphy's Law.

If you are interested in making me some knitted dishcloths, contact me for a swap!  I'll sew you something or gift you with supplies!

Thanks! The little mutt is doing somewhat better, but the progress from last week to this week has astounded the vet's office.

Southerstitcher, that has got to be annoying. I'm glad that you got whatever it is done even if it seems to have driven you up the wall.

I still have to stick the _______ in the oven to get it all ready to go and then maybe make one for me. It turned out sooooo cute that I'm hoping it doesn't go to heck in the oven (fingers crossed). I'm also thinking about making a _______ that Sam and I talked about a while ago, but I have to hunt down the right fabric first. I know it's here somewhere, but the question is where exactly? Ugh, so many ideas so little time!
