I got these shoes for 1 dollar at the super cheap thrift store by my house and they were just the kind of shoes I had been looking for: strappy sandals that weren't totally flat so they provide a bit of support, but not with very high heels. I loved them but the problem was they were in really bad shape. I have no idea how old they are but the vinylish matieral the of the straps was literally coming off in chunks. So I recovered the straps with red fabric, and now I think they are fabulous sexy pinup sandals that will probably be my wear-every-day shoes this summer!

I wish I had before pictures, but here are all the afters (p.s. I know tights with sandals is a little risky it's still cold in my house):

And footless, you can see how they're pretty worn but luckily that part is covered by my foot. Some people may feel a bit weird wearing secondhand shoes, but it doesn't bother me,. You're talking to a girl who wears hand me down panties.

I love the fact that you managed to give a ratty old pair of shoes a new life.
If only we all pushed ourselves a little harder to keep renewable items out of the landfills and oceans...
Nice work!

Cute! And tights, socks, and the like are all in with open toe shoes! But not pantyhose Angry   That looks like grandmas at weddings.

Lets all go to Jack Taylor's to celebrate!
