Beware the power of my Sonic Seam Ripper!

I have been working on this odd little project for what feels like ages now.  It was made for audio-astrophysics in the One Tiny Harry Potter Thing Swap.  I knew I wanted to make her something really unusual, and also hopefully useful.  I know that dear audio crafts like mad, so I thought I'd make her something small to take with her to play with on trips so she'd always have her craft supplies handy.  So audio, good luck on your "craftical quests in the Potterverse!"   Wink

Front of the trunk, which is embellished with deer skin leather, and gold "upholstery tacks".  The whole trunk was colored with wood stain markers:

Detail on front of trunk of the Hogwart's crest:

Travel labels on the sides of the trunk, some of which included the Hotel d'Angleterre in Cairo, Boston Mass, etc:

A fat gold Galleon tape measure, covered in real gold leaf:

Transfiguration Supplies, which include titanium scissors, strange paper clips, acrylic jewels, a quarter to use as a screw driver or for a cart at Aldi, star shaped brads, paper punches of owls, and two bottle cap charms of an owl and of a doe over a pond.

General Crafting bits and bobs, including colored pencils, a blue sharpie to show her Ravenclaw pride, craft glue, & a pad of yellow "parchment"

A Quick-Quotes Quill, complete with acid-green ink:

A Box of Dr. Filibusters No-Heat Wet-Start Fireworks (matches!), and some craft felt:

Potions ingredients (Slytherin-blend glitter of black, green, silver & stars), a Wand (seam ripper), and some Honeyduke's Chocolate, in case your crafts are going badly, or in case of Dementor attacks (and yes, I made the Honeyduke's logo in Photoshop):

Complimentary Madam Malkin's Magical Sewing Kit which includes thread in school uniform colors, buttons to match, safety pins, and an antique thimble

Divination Needlebook:

Divination Needlebook - inside, with sparkly cover

Charms Textbook by Cherie Charmant, and Astronomy Textbook by Aro Borealis (filled with charms, and aurora borealis beads)

Shout wipe, paper-crafting bits, and a Muggle Medical Kit for minor cuts and 1st degree dragon burns:

Holy Hogwarts, Batman!  Shocked

You made the trunk too?!?! That is amazing beyond words. I am so incredibly jealous of her. "This Rocks" doesn't even cut it. I especially like the quill, the wand and the sewing kit. (There's so much cool stuff in there, I really can't choose.)

Where's North from here?

An absolutely amazing piece!

I especially adore the galleon tape measure and the seam ripper wand.

Wow, I was so impressed by just the trunk.  The whole package is... beyond... fabulous.  I could hardly get to the end before hitting "this rocks!"!!

Would you be able to share anything on how you made the trunk?  Was it a trunk-shaped box that you covered?  I love it so!

A-ok with personal swaps.

Did you hear the sound of my jaw dropping? You should have, this is amazing.
