I borrowed the One Yard Wonder book from a friend because I wanted to make the car trashbag for my new car. I had some skull and crossbones fabric that I was saving to use for a project just like this!
The bag originally is unlined, but I used a lightweight gray ripstop nylon for the lining:

Since there was a lot of fabric left over I made a matching steering wheel cover and padded seatbelt sleeve:

Love it! I have been wanting a car trash bag, for some reason it never occurred to me to make my own!

Very cool - your car is styling now!
I love the steering wheel cover.  A friend of mine wants to make one and I keep forgetting to find her a tutorial on how to make one!  And ya know what?  I'm so scattered these days that I'll probably forget to look for it for her 30 seconds from now!
