I downloaded the paper piecing pattern from free from Paper Panache not too long after 9/11. I pieced and quilted it pretty much right away but it's been sitting unbound in my project closet ever since. It's moved house with us at least four times in its unfinished state. I found it the other say when I was re-organizing my fabric closet. Thought it was high time to bind it and get it completed.

Really like that, nice job.  Just had to go check out Paper Panache, wow they have some really detailed paper patterns there.

Great job on the paper piecing - and congrats on finally finishing it.  I love making and rotating my "holiday" themed  quilts, and this  one would fit right in with Flag Day/Fourth of July.

One is less than three.

Thanks!  Yes, Paper Panache is famous for super-detailed paper piecing. It's not your average cartoony blocks.

So many people were moved to make quilts after 9/11, and I'm very glad you eventually had a chance to finish and display yours.  Thanks so much for sharing it with us.  You did an outstanding job.
