I made these for my daughter who loves this kind of Japanese type cartoonish girl. They're painted on these compressed paper ball things...not sure what you call them. Then I attached the elastics by inserting them and glueing. I think I might have to varnish them!

I'm no doll maker....this was an easier way to utilize the heads than workin out different bodies I could make!

I took influence from some amazingly cute Japanese Bunka dolls I have seen online.



I haven't got long enough hair to take a pic of them in action...but will post one of my daughter in them.
