You know when your veggies are getting old and past their best - when your two greedy guinea pigs turn their noses up at them!

To solve my problem of the oh-so-bendy carrots I made a veggie bake.  Using mashed carrot as a topping & inside things I found hidden in the fridge/freezer - onion, leek, green pepper, some quorn mince, stock, can of green lentils, tomato ketchup, frozen peas & seasoning.  Cook alltogether, then put in an ovenproof dish with the mashed carrots on top & place under the grill.  Delicious & no one need ever know about my bendy carrots!  Switch quorn mince to soya mince for a vegan version. Full details here.

Ps) the guinea pigs have been brought new crunchy carrots, they did not starve! Smiley

I have lots of train tickets (I get the train most days), if anyone wants some for papercrafting just send me a PM Smiley
