I don't have time for this swap unfortunately (stupid school). But just wanted to put in that I will be stalking the gallery when everyone gets their goodies. (also hippos are my favorite animals have been all my life-have giggled every time Bert is on screen-I would love to know how to make a hippo that farts)  Grin

Although I won't be participating in this swap (I'd love to), I've got a suggestion for the erm... "farting" issue. While wandering around Walgreens last week they had self-inflatable whoopie cushions. They are a tad smaller than the original W.C. so they could easily be stuffed inside a handmade Bert. I think they were something silly priced like 3 for $3.50 or something. Hope this is useful to someone.  Grin

I have a ton of NEW sewing patterns to swap. What do you have?

Hiya...not going to be able to join but I have made a farting hippo before...because of NCIS...I made one for my partner cause he thought Bert was hilarious...I crocheted a hippo out of nice thick brownish wool and then used a self-inflating woopee cushion with the tail of the hippo helping to hide the part of the woopee cushion that needed to stick out to let the air out...was lots of fun to make and still works over a year and a half later...farting whenever squeezed...anyway sorry I can't join in...over committed but wanted to share, have fun everyone!  Look forward to seeing what you all make...

I'm currently in a swap that ends on the 30th. Can I still sign up, like, in the afternoon or something? It's my first swap, and I know I'm not supposed to 'double up' until after it's been completed successfully....
