I have about 2000 of these things. My dad got them for me and I haven't wanted to throw them out because I know
there's something great to be made. I just haven't figured it out yet. lol.
The things I've made/thought of are:
a mobile (glue the ugly sides to gether)
a lamp shade (kinda like how they make the ones out of photo negatives)
garlands (link them together with little jump rings long ways)
curtains (I haven't done this but I think it would make a really
neat looking curtain on a kitchen window or something smallish, again link them together with rings like the garlands and lamp shades)
mosaic with them (I've read that you can score them with a certain tool and then break them, your only bound to geometric shapes though no rounded edges)
frame them (a whole bunch of small squares of colors/textures is really nice and expensive looking)
.... I'll add more as I remember them. Plus I'll be watching to see what these other craftster geniuses can think up.
Oh and on the chalkboard note, I have some that came as chalkboard (also glow in the dark, metallics, metal, leaves/organics in them, white board, and lots of other cool stuff)
