is it just me, or is Fiber Friday dying?  Cry

I participated in a swap called Handspun & Handmade at the end of February and I spun these two skeins for my partner:

(can't remember name)
Merino, corridale, wool, firestar, etc

16yards (approx.)

Fiber Friday can't be dying!  I'm about to get the materials for my very first spindle....

I really like "sherbert."  It's so light and fluffy, I just wanna pet it!

Eco-friendly items, patterns, hippies, and more.

I'm on Ravelry, too!

I have to agree with Dragonflywer here, though. I need my weekly dose of fiber porn!

Oh hey I did something!

I was bored for a bit sitting at home on Spring Break and I busted out my CD drop spindle and spun a bit of fiber I had laying around. Enjoy!

I love all things shiny, glittery, and colorful.

I hang out in: Fiber Arts, Needlework, and the Swap Board!

I will be back shortly with porn yarn photos!!

thick, thin, slubtastic, autowrapped, tufts of locks, ribbon, felt naubles. my new favorite! I'm working up the courage to send it to Lexi for the Revolution... so past the deadline.

finally finished the sistah skein for A2K. Belladune I totally know what you mean about hating the inconsistency. I started this yarn a month (or more??) ago, and since my spinning depends on what mood I'm in, it varies between sport and worsted weight. :/

I spun this for sugaree in the handspun swap. it was SO HARD to keep this secret, 'cause I'm quite proud Cheesy
started with this (minus the kitty):

bamboo, nylon, and local cormo I dyed cream with an ecru/yellow concoction. add-ins: vintage lace from my grams, pearls from a thrifted sweater, feather, and sequins.

uploading more as we speak...

I know it seems FF is dying.... and I'm not helping any.... I really wish I had more time to spin.... Lots of started projects, just need to finish them Smiley I wish I had more then 30 minutes at a time to do it in... My yarn never looks the same from one end of the skien to the other because of this.. It drives me bonkers...

I wanna eat that Sherbert yarn.. itss soooo fluffy and squishy looking!!!

I love oddacity's yarn.  Gorgeous!!!

I spun some sari silk.  I meant to post last week and forgot and almost forgot this week.  I'm not helping much.  Anyways, here it is:

Hope you enjoy.

ooooh sari silk looks so pretty spun up!

here are the skeins I originally spun for the Handspun Revolution. I tried a new thing, and I didn't like it. for the last two yarns, I created the batts by grabbing random handfuls of fiber and throwing it into the carder. blech. I think they look gross. the cloudy yarn I spun progressing from white to dark blue and added nylon beehives as clouds. I quite like that one Grin
