So for my birthday, I was treated to a lovely little trip to the pacific shore. The ocean is my favorite place in the world, so I decided to make a little memento of my time spent around San Diego. Here is what I came up with:

one small piece of giant kelp

four pieces from different type of seaweed

I have to give points to thelastkodama for sharing her lovely little seaweed cards (https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=337662.0).

These are really cool. And what a great souvenir for your trip. The giant kelp is my favorite!

But why is the rum gone?

Beautiful.  I would have never thought of that.

I never knew seaweed could be that pretty.

It is better to have crafted and failed then never to have crafted at all.
Yes, I am stalking the Toys and Playthings board. Thanks for noticing!
I'm cheating on Craftster with Pinterest. It's ok though. There's overlap.
