Woo i received.  The courier van pulls up while we are having breakfast and hubby says "what have you been buying?, Nothing I say.  I didn't think my parcel would have gotten all the way here already.  But it had! Grin
So here is everything all together (that is the high chair foot in the bottom left) The other pic I think is the first book.  I love the front.  I have succumbed to the temptation of that pilot   Wink there are all kinds of cake and sweet treat recipes in there

and the cookbook, it is a cake decorating one, the pic on the back is like the dolly cake I made my girl for her birthday in Jan.  And some cookie cutters, they will go great with my collection, and some mints and gum, that made everything smell yummy, and coasters that say Queen of the Kitchen

The scrapped cook book and a few of the recipes inside.  They were Naja's nannas recipes.  Hubby and I read thru them and he was saying mmm and yum and oohh  Cheesy

Some of the recipes are
Holiday punch
chilled corn bread
Amazing coconut pie
banana cream pie
peach pie
strawberry pie
parmesan chicken fillets
Easy baked pork chops
mmmmm yum yum yum

and my crafted item, this apron.  Its a little bit retro, its a little bit kitsch.  I told naja I am nearly  a 50's housewife,( but without the heels and housework, and the Rage against the Machine on the radio)

Thanks so much Naja I hope your parcel arrive soon, and that you love it

I received my wonderful package from Eye_on_Sparrow!  I did the happy dance when I found the box on my porch, it must have come while I was at the post office sending mine off - how's that for ironic?  I was so excited to open it, I forgot to take a pic of everything together, but I got picture happy so it makes up for it I hope.

First, the cover of the beautiful cookbook Leesa made me:

As you can see, it's sewn (and beautifully so)  Here's the pages:

out of time will post more later

And the 2 - yes you read that right - cookbooks she sent.  One's a book on herbs (that I in the past have checked out at my local library) that has recipies, and crafty stuff and such related to herbs and the other is how to hide veges in your food.  It so rocks.  My daughter was sitting there reading through it "making" everything she saw.  We'll be cooking/baking tomorrow I can see.

The Chai tea mix, which is so yummy, I just had to try it out.  What's even cooler is yes, that's the recipe on the front so I can make more.

Then there are to utensils she sent - measuring spoons (I've never seen ladle style before, i love them, tea ball spoon, towel, and of course lipstick and a wooden spoon (which go with the next item)

I got an apron!!!!!!  This is just so beautiful!  Leesa, you rock!

My daughter stole it as soon as I set it down:

And of course, action shots with the Apron, lipstick and spoon ( I know, I am so not photogenic it's ridiculous.

I can make that...

Lookie what I got!!!!   Feywalker made me a crocheted hanging basket to help me get more organized in my kitchen.
Isn't it pretty and I got another little blue crocheted basket.  There is something about baskets as soon as the come into my house they are imediatelly filled with stuff.
Then the purchased goodies.  Not a good picture but up in the top is an owl shaped chocolate that may be to adorable to eat.  But it is chocolate so I must eat it.  A couple of dishclothes I love these kind because they have a scrubbie fabric on the back.  I also got some hooks and a magnetic grocery list and a few extra page protectors for my scrapbook.

The scrapbook is so adorable with pink and brown and owls.  And there are some really good recipes in there.  My daughter has already picked out the black bean and spinach pizza and the chicken and spinach pizza.  Feywalkers 3 yr old daughter decorated the page with the bannana bread on it.  Don't worry Kassi although I don't like raw bannanas I do love bannana bread and cake.  I like the taste of bannanas but I just don't like the texture of raw bannanas.  Is that wierd or what.

The cook book she sent is perfect because I am trying to eat healthier and the doctor says I have hypertention so heart healthy is good for me.

what a fun swap and I am looking forward to seeing what everyone else got.

I meant to show the page that feywalker's daughter made for me.  I think she did a fabulous job on it.
