1960's Tent Dress - Hairspray Style!

(Wasn't sure where to post this as it's a plus size pattern dress, but a costume for a local theatre...I opted for this board b/c it could totally be worn everyday...I'm in the process of making myself one of the same pattern...but a different fabric! Hope you enjoy!)

Here's the 60's mod dress. I modified the pattern to add a lining and make the band at the bottom shorter.

When I saw tent dress, I was so excited!  I loved tent dresses! What a horrid, name, though!

They were comfy, no fitting issues, and looked good--I love the retro mod print for your own dress!  Hope to see it posted soon!

McCall's M5659. Although, I modified it a bit - added a full lining and changed up how the bottom panel was done (mine is folded over and stitched down so it has an extra layer on it and it's shortened.) Glad you liked it.
