It's corriendale wool.  I think it just looks shinier than it is from the flash.

Liberry you should give yourself a pat on the back for those cool yarns...I found merino hard to spin when I first started..I though it was hard to draft.. make sure you try some BFL blue face leicster and I know I didn't spell it correctly but they will know what you mean...its pretty dreamy to spin up.

I have one real soft yarn I did for a swap apl. USPS says she got her package so I hope so before I ruin her surprise..218 yds of Columbia wool that I got from Maryland sheep and wool fest from last year...

the roving was mostly black with red, blue, green and yellow streaks mixed in that looked real neat when spun. I wanted to ply it with thread and little glass beads but that didn't go well so I had to love it as a single..I waited to post it so I knew she had recieved too.

These are sooo pretty! I love the brown and blue in the beginning, I'd call it... Dune or Beechwood lol, not super creative, but I like it a lot anyway. The orange and blue/white/red are really great. I can't wait till next friday, I'm going to post my first wheel yarns. They're hanging to dry right now. I went to Stitches West last weekend and ended up with a wheel! Yay! Omigosh, so fun! I've just about run out of fiber at this point :/

Can't wait to see more!

Hey Fiber People: I am very interested in personal swaps for painted/dyed roving or top. I can swap supplies or crafted items. Let's talk!
