I received today from aada - a charm necklace all about my favorite boy/book/movie:

The first half contains - a Griffyndor charm, a skull to remind us all of the horrors caused by He Who Must not be Named, a book of Hermione's to encourage me to be a better student (I'm taking this semester off from Grad school - and it feels so good!), a chalice to remind me of the Goblet of Fire, and a golden snitch charm, because I love quidditch, and a lion to represent my house.

The second half contains a locket to symbolize the destroyed items the dark Lord used as horcruxes, a single dose of Felix Felicis (I could use some of that for real), and the two green gems remind us of Lily's green eyes, and why Snape protected Harry, with another Griffyndor charm to finish.

I forgot to mention that this lovely piece of jewelry was sent directly to me from the Godric's Hollow Gift Shoppe. The center pendant is two-sided with my favorite guy Harry James Potter:

And the flip side is a non-moving Muggle drawing of Buckbeak:

Thanks so much Amanda! It's exactly what I would I have created for myself if I had your talent. It also meets my level of knowledge (which is slight compared to rest of you HP fanatics) of trivia of the books and movies. And it's funny that you used Buckbeak - great minds think alike?

Hee hee.

Eeeeeeeee! I love the Craftastical Emergency Kit - that is fantastic. So clever. I now have the urge to make lots and lots of little matchbox text books and hide fun things in them. What a great swap item. Congrats to the maker and recipient.

I love that craft emergency kit.  One question, Where did you find a shout wipe?  They don't sell them were I live anymore.    Cry

On a slightly unrelated note:  I thought y'all who were fans for Fred and George would enjoy this- a site where I read/write hp fanfiction is playing a prank on us (or we're hoping) for April Fool's Day.  Here is the link, if y'all want to see it: http://harrypotterfanfiction.com/

I believe that I got the Shout wipes at Walmart...  Really, I just took one from the package at work, since we keep them around all the time for the Wardrobe crews.  I just bought a pile of boxes of them sometime least year, and we've been using them up slowly since then.

I received from Smmarrt today!

She made me a pendant (we are so in tune! Wink) of my fave character: Sirius!

And Sirius has wings (lovely wings!)

It's a domino pendant with Shrinky Dink wings. Around the domino is the names of important characters and things from the series!

Thank you, Smmarrt!  Kiss
