In honour of Star Wars Day, I decided to try something to save a Star Wars t-shirt that I accidentally butchered trying to make something else.

I used the print from the front of this tee (and the inside), and a thrifted jacket that I've been thinking looked a little lacklustre lately.

This was the end result. I left a little extra fabric around the edges of the tee panels that I stitched onto the jacket so that the edges can roll & distress a little as I wear it.

Here's some pics of the jacket in action! I posted some more detailed pictures of the process here: http://owlobsessedoddity.blogspot.com.au/2012/05/diy-friday-may-fourth-be-with-you.html, if you're interested.
