Hello! I recently made this elephant for a co-worker's baby shower (and she liked it!). The body is a baby corduroy, the ears and foot pads are dull satin, and the tusks are just some cotton I had around. I used a lovely pattern from this place, and though I like the idea of stitching a bunch of wrinkles over the whole thing, the only topstitching I decided to do was the ears. Overall, it took me a semi-leisurely few days, and the difficulty level was just right for me; challenging enough that I had to really pay attention to all those small, tight curves, but not too bad that I had to take out any major stitches. (whew!)

Pictures? Pictures!

The greens really do look better together in real life.

Here's an overall with the flash, you can see one of the embroidered eyes.

Peanuts! What a happy lil' guy!

I always forget to take in progress pictures, so here is one when it's almost done, guts all spilling out.

Thanks for looking!
