Hi everyone!

I was so excited when I found this website because I'm so artsy fartsy and love sharing ideas and techniques with others like me!

This is the very first purse I've ever made. I wanted a bag with a lot of pockets and longer strap and couldn't really find anything that I liked, so I decided to make one. The main body came from a patterns, but the front and 2 side pockets, shoulderstrap and little straps down the front were all me. I made it out of a remnant of fabric (outer), and old pair of my husband's pants (inner lining) and another old purse and belt (hardwear, zippers and buckles). It's defiantely not perfect, but I'm really happy with it!

Any comments/critiques are appreciated!

Well, up close, not all the stitching is straight, but I made the outer layer really strong and thick to endure all types of weather and the sewing machine didn't like that, lol.

And thanks! I love Doctor Who. I'm such a geek.

Thank you everyone for your comments!
