A fascination of mine that I have finally tried out this year is the wonderful world of doll customization. I picked up a Monster High Lagoona doll at the beginning of the year, and then a MH Robecca Steam shortly after. I repainted them quite a handful of times before finding the right mediums and sealers to look good and not have a bad reaction (pealing, cracking, etc.). I'm definitely still learning. I've made one outfit for Lagoona and two for Robecca. In May, a friend gave me Operetta with homemade clothing but with factory paint still on, so I decided to repaint her too! Cheesy I ordered some Mr. Super Clear in May, but it took until this month to arrive because of some shipping complications, so I just finished repainting Lagoona and Operetta this month. I left Robecca with the slightly pealing face because other than the wrinkles on one side, it is fine since it is just for me Smiley

I did. I'm over-committed outside of Craftster right now though and was trying to resist Tongue I'm super tempted though.

These are lovely! I repainted a Ghoulia Yelps doll, but with nowhere near the amount of skill you have! You are very talented! ^___^

Amazing job on the faces!  I really like Operetta's outfit, too.  You should join the Monster High swap.  Smiley

Thanks very much! I have two more MH girls that I want to do repaints on, but I just got my first Blythe doll last month and she will be my next custom project. So far I have an almost complete dress for her and gave her sleepy eyes, but I've been super busy studying for a licensure exam that is in a few weeks and put all my crafts aside. Hopefully there will be lots of new custom girls in my family after mid April!

So beautiful! Operetta is my fav! (I may be biased because she's my favorite MH doll in general, but the outfit you made her is absolutely gorgeous)
