Well, my little girl is due Feb. 13th, but really she could be here any day now.  Hubby is hoping she'll be a Valentine baby, but at this point, I don't really care what day she gets here as long as it is soon!   Cheesy  Anyway, here is her coming home outfit.  I made the top and pants out of a felted, wool sweater and the red appliques and hood are fleece.  The skirt is actually a heart print, not polka dot.

This one actually captures the colors correctly.  My camera sucks.

Anyway, let me know what you think!  I'm thinking about ditching the skirt, but I'm not sure.  I was mostly concerned with it not being pink and frilly.  She might end up looking like a Valentine teddy bear, but who says that's a bad thing?  Cheesy

Aww, these are adorable.

Guardie for life.

I am really interested in doing a personal swap, especially for greener things like reusable lady items, wool dryer balls, or other such things.  I can knit, sew, draw, and put things together in pretty neat ways.  Please PM me if you're interested.

First - congratulations! My son was due Feb 13th last year! He came Jan 31st though - big surprise!
Second - I love the outfit, I think it's soooo sweet and adorable. Looks so cozy too!

yeah I wouldn't ditch it either! I don't have any kids, but I most of my jobs have been working with moms and kids and you will wanna keep it as a back up in case she spits up or gets poo all over it trust me. Plus its adorable!

Thank you!  It was a fun project that helped get me back into the swing of things after a miserable month!  I think I will keep the skirt or at least bring it along and see how it looks.

That is an absolutely adorable outfit.  Your little one will be the best dressed baby coming home from that hospital.  All the other babies will be sooooo jealous.

My son was born on Valentine's Day way back in 1988.  He'll be 22 this year.  I still consider him the best V-Day present I have ever received.
