So, a dear little man I love very much is turning 3.  I made him this:

Front: salvaged flannel, fleece, and cashmere sweater.



Back: bits of crazy scraps: cashmere, fleece, flannel, cotton, metallic stretch (the purple stuff), a felted angora blend sweater, etc.
My crazy duvet/shams do not provide the best backdrop to show this off--not enough contrast.


It is (mostly) based on amy Butler's cozy kitty pattern.

Modifications:
I changed the size of the face
I did my own style of face (different eyes, a nose was added, stitched the mouth with light blue thread, added ear triangles).
I chose to sew the two sides together, with WRONG SIDES FACING, finishing the edges with a zigzag stitch.

He is very soft and cozy.

The pattern is pretty easy, so if you sew, Briseida, I'd say give it a try.
