OMg it's beautiful! I'm slowly making one with a larger variety of colors and different brands so that I don't have to buy the yarn all at once, and don't have to worry about dye lots. I'm sure it'll take me years, lol, but I had fun figuring out the motif from pictures since I'm too cheap to buy.
You did a great job!

Life is confusing, just when you think it's over it throws you a view like this and you don't know where you are.

Thanks! I'm a big fan of instant gratification  Wink and I don't know what discipline is, but I actually finished this in 3 months. Could've even finished it earlier, but I was out of yarn.

Now on to the smaller projects!  Cheesy

I'm hanging on to this pattern because it was love at first sight.  I came to the conclusion I would do it in the same colors that they show because I think that is what appealed to me in the first place.

Yes, that was what it was like for me too!  Smiley I am now doing one with a dark orange (the colour of my parents' couch) as main colour and besides that I've used mostly the same colours as the previous one, except for the light blue which I substituted with light green. Just a few triangles left to do - I am out of yarn as usual - and the border and then I'm done, just in time for my mom's birthday I hope.

Wow!  I've only just seen the finished photo now!  It is soooo lovely!  It is the original colours that attracted me at first and I wonder if i lost interest because I didn't find the colours I chose as exciting?

Funny that this popped up today because yesterday my sister was over and asked me if I ever planned to finish it.  Currently the stack of 9 finished blocks is still sitting on my WIP shelf although I've pretty officially declared it an UFO.  She wants to help me work on it and keep the finished project.  I might just get into this again.  If she wants to keep it she's going to have to weave in the ends though (I'm a cruel cruel sister!).

After checking out Regretsy I'm pretty sure I could sell my stuff on Etsy.

Grin You are a smart sister! There are strings - or rather: ends - attached  Wink.

I'll post the one in orange/brown/off white/green when it's done and there are so many beautiful ones in other colour schemes on Ravelry as well. Do you think you'll ever try this one again in colours you like?

Just ordered it!  I can't say when I'll actually make it, but I definitely want to have it available.

kristel, your finished piece is beautiful!

There's one in every family, and I'm an only child.

Thank you  Smiley! Hope you'll enjoy making it too.

It's my mother's birthday tomorrow and I've finished another one for her. My parents' couch is the same colour orange/red, so I hope she'll like it. That's always tricky with a large surprise project!

I probably won't be doing another one any time soon (RSI  Wink), but hey, you never know.
