You know what? You know what? Yeah.

This is based on one of my favorite parts of the book The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy:

“But the plans were on display …”

“On display? I eventually had to go down to the cellar to find them.”

“That’s the display department.”

“With a torch.”

“Ah, well the lights had probably gone.”

“So had the stairs.”

“But look, you found the notice didn’t you?”

“Yes,” said Arthur, “yes I did. It was on display in the bottom of a locked filing cabinet stuck in a disused lavatory with a sign on the door saying ‘Beware of the Leopard’.

It's hard to take a good picture because it's a big one - about 4,700 stitches on 22 count fabric.

I hope you like it. Smiley Any thoughts or comments are appreciated. Smiley

Oh hey, I'm the weirdo that just favourited most of the photos of your cat on Flickr. I think I have a cat-crush on Shampoo. You can't technically be a crazy cat girl unless you own a cat yourself though. At least I tell myself that.

ANYWAY, this is awesome. I love that you chose something pretty obscure from the book rather than going with the obvious. I hope you're going to hang this on your bathroom door.

Great tribute to HGTG! Awesome work!

No way! This is so awesome! You do wonderful work - very impressive stuff here. What's even better though, is  that I literally just finished listening through the audiobook of "Hitchhiker's Guide", and was planning on making my very own bathroom sign! (Also, I now want to potentially go visiting the 'fjords of Africa'....) Would it be possible to get my hands on the chart you used for this? All I have to do now is convince my roommates that we really NEED a warning sign on the bathroom door.....  ;-)
