I've been personal swapping for spinning fiber, and here's what I got today!

From MissingWillow some delicious raw textel fleece:

And from KatCrochets, "Overripe Plum" coopworth wool roving, lovely deep coloring. And a cute little stowaway!

WideEyedLife and I did an envie swap and I got tons of great goodies in mine!
Here is a close-up of my favorites -

which include a little marroon "rug" that I will use in some crafty way, some gorgeously colored paperclips, an adorable pic of a cabinet, where she cut the doors so they open and I can put cute stuff inside (like nestling kitties and knicknacks), wire which I will use to make a, YAY!, tree of life, some pink vinyl material - perfect for ATC crafting, awesum iron on transfers, and a keychain minibook which will go everywhere with me now!
Then there is this uber neat create-a-castle of Mont-Saint-Michel, which is very appropriate for me since my brother used to mail me postcards of it when he lived in France, and the photo of it is on my parents' wall! It will be a lot of fun to build this in paper.

Lots of other cut-outs for ATC making and cute pics were in my package. It was like opening on Christmas morning!
thank you, WideEyedLife for a bundle of fun.

Hanshotfirst and I were partners in Yarnies vs Sewists rnd 2 and decided to do another swap together(like she said earlier in the thread). She made me so many beautiful things!

First, I got this awesome bag from my wists. I love it and have used it a lot already.

I also got these really cute accesories.

Here's an action shot.

This tea wallet is great. I've seen them around before and always thought they were really cool. I love tea!

I also got this adorable cupcake apron. I can't wait to bake in it. The picture doesn't quite do it justice. It's so pretty and well made. (Please excuse my messy room, and the bad mirror picture.)

And a matching potholder! Cheesy

And last, but not least, this amazing skirt! I really love it. The fabrics are adorable. I didn't get an action shot, unfortunately, but it fits like a glove.

Thanks again! I'm in love with everything!

For RhymeswOrange: Here are the puppets I have made. I will also be making a cute box or bag to store them in and I'm working on a little back story for each one. I hope you like them!

I got the most amazing personal swap package from bellyjewel!!!!

First is an awesome pair of Hello Kitty spa slippers. They fit perfectly and cater to our mutual love of Hello Kitty.

And a matching set of HK pin cushions!

A beautiful feather headband that is now part of my belly dance costumes.

A small paper mache box with floral decoupage and containing buttons and some awesome trimming.

Another box that says Wytchcraft and containing peacock feathers (my favorite).

Finally, the BEST part....

A fairy godmother chest!

Thank you for being the best swap partner ever, bellyjewel!!!!

I swap, you swap, we all swap! I love personal swaps (and I make poppets!) Smiley

This is what I recieved for squire_inaria

the first poppet i have recieved which my partner named Amaranthia
She is so well made and pretty I was so excited when I saw this!

I was even more excited to see this because our love of hello kitty is definately
mutual. Lol I live in Louisiana and I've only been able to wear it in the morning
because it doesnt get cold enough in the fall but just wait for winter time.

This is just special because my aunt/godmother loved unicorns so it reminds me of her.

This is a cool extra a satchet that is already in use in my scarf drawer.

This was my first personal swap so Thank you so much you were a great partner

I absolutely hate the color pink & it's family members!!

Due to the Things With Tentacles swap I got invited clevercuttlefish to swap with me, cause she missed the sign up.  We agreed to no deadline, as she has 2 kids, a busy life, and she lives a million miles from me...well not like Mars...but not a easy to mail to place.  When she got the package, it was quickly disassembled by her family (as it should be) Grin.  So I'm posting MOST of the stuff I sent to her.  Seems I forgot to take a pick of the bag I sent her *sigh*.  Still feeling good I remembered MOST of the stuff heheheh

I THINK this is the bottle cap cuttle I sent her...It's a necklace.

This is an iron on patch I did in denim for her.  LOVE Steam-A-Seam Lite!!!!  I sent her a few bits of S-A-S-l to play with too.

The stickers and such that I sent to her and her family.  The blue guy in the middle is a magnet.  I also sent her a Olympic mascot magnet (which happned this year in Vancouver, near where I live)...I think LOL.  But I i didn't get a pick it seems

LOVE these.  They are cuttlefish wristlets for her kids.  The feeder tentacles snap together to make the join.  They fit a JONES soda candy tin perfectly

This is a foil covered Altoid tin I made for her Hub.  He is a uber diver...so it seemed the right thing LOL

And this is the inside of the tin.  Thanks again National Geographic!  I LOVE you!!!!

I had an epic fail as I did not get a pick of the Japanese knot bag I made her.  For me, getting the pics is the HARDest part ROLF.

She is a super swap partner, cause she has continually kept in contact even tho she is uber busy.  She has let me know why she hasn't sent yet, and she will be sending in the next few weeks.

Thanks for saying YES celvercuttlefish!!  You're one of my favo peeps! Grin
