I got a drop-spindle for Christmas, so these are all of my attempts up to date!

My very first...Blue Faced Leistcher wool. Very lumpy and thick-thin.

Second attempt: Falkland. Gorgeous stuff and it came out much better since I actually know how to draft now!

Two different marino attempts. I don't enjoy this fiber as much, it's a little too slippery and wispy for me but the yarn is lovely!

My first attempt at kool-aid dying on pre-spun wool. I'm going to try dying the roving and then spin that for my next project.

And a shot of everything! I just want to roll in it...

Great job! I'm just learning to spin, too. I dyed my first to attempts with kool aid today. I love the colors of your kool aid dyed skein.

I don't want no slubs, a slub is a ply that can't get no love from me...

I'm loving all your skeins!!

Had to quote your siggie line ...

I've been spinning on a wheel since 2002 (spindling since 1998).  I'm a-loving the slubs .... will even drum card wisps of short fibers in with long fibers to be sure I get slubs when I'm not trying.

Embrace the art (slubs)!!
