I carved a bacon stamp for my brother because he loves bacon on everything, so now he can have bacon on everything. Now I'd like to package it with a bacon-scented stamp pad or marker. I have seen bacon scented candles on Etsy, so I figure there has to be some sort of scenting medium, right? Right?

So I know you're all speechless pondering this question, so I went ahead and ordered the "jerky" fragrance oil, which is supposed to smell more like bacon than jerky, from this site: http://www.saveonscents.com and we shall see if a regular pigment stamp pad can be scented without destroying the pigment. It should be arriving in the next few days.

OMG the scents came today. I asked for jerky "and any other scents that may be similar" and they sent barbecue, ham & cheese sandwich, pot roast, and baked ham. They are still in the package and man, do they smell awful!
Now I just have to go get a bacon-colored stamp pad!

OK, I'm loving this one-person BACON thread! So I have to ask, have you found bacon yet? or did one of the others work out for you? I'd love to get this to create some giveaways for my scooter club, who are a bunch of bacon-loving freaks. Something about seattle I guess. Same place bacon vodka was invented. Nobody here drinks it though, because it's just like the scents you received...splendid in theory, but positively dreadful in reality! haha!

Haven't made it to any store with brown stamp pads yet. All the scents are shoved in the back of my craft closet right now. Someone on another board sent me this link though. I thought that was a good idea.
