Ok, so I've never quilted a thing in my life. I like to make blankets for all the babies born into our family. However I have gotten tired of turning and top stiching the darn things. I thought I would try doing some machine quilting on one and then bind the whole thing together. So this how I did last night. I don't think I did too bad for my first try. There are a few spots where the minky has bumps and I think that next time I'll do more quilting all together. Over all I'm really pleased with it.

DH holding it up for me. Notice the sexy legs poking out from the bottem!

Best I could do to get a nice pic of my attempt at quilting and binding it.

Thanks for all the nice comments everyone. I only realized after I posted the pics that I had the Scotties upsidedown! Ah well I'm sure the baby won't mind!

Nice one! And how clever with the hood and mittens!
