Hi All,

It's Father's day over here in Oz and my husband and I decided to do stenciled pressies for our Dad's. Anyways, we stenciled on the image only to find that one of the stencil's had bled. We used Textile Medium in with our paint but have not yet heat set it, is there a way to clean up the stencil a little as it's not the sort of image that can get away with a messy edge. Any help would be hugely appreciated!

Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

This advice completely depends on your image and amount of bleeding. If I'm able and with only a small amount of bleeding I take a detail paint brush and very carefully edge out the image. Go all the way around so you don't distort the image to much.

Other then that I just chock the project up to a loss. Trust me I've scraped quite a few T-shirts  Cry , it's not even practice makes perfect either IMO. Sometimes (I'm sure it depends on the heat of the iron or the fabric or something) the freezer paper:paint ratio is great and there is no bleeding and other times there is.
