For my anniversary with my partner, I promised to make a cassette tape messenger bag. This was back in November, after I had JUST gotten off a 16 hour per day work schedule for a political campaign and NEEDED a break. I started the bag but got frustrated with some sew in stabilizer and gave up.

I finally (after a lot of guilting on Q's part) finished it.

Cassette tape applique made from mens suit fabric (the lining matches) and grommets. There are two inside pockets (one zips, one slip pocket), one zip pocket in the back, adjustable strap, and magnet closure.

Rounded corners on the side. Not too happy about the stitching of the corners (VERY difficult with my small machine given the bulk of the bag and the stabilizer used). Thankfully, the strap end hides it.

Back pocket: pretty sure this is the first time Ive EVER used a zipper foot Cheesy

The bag looks really good.  I'm impressed with your zipper and the cassette is really cute.  I love the texture the pinstripes give it.

Looking for postcards from anywhere to use for RSVP cards for my 8/2012 wedding.  Have 80/200.
