I tried this today! Soo cute by the way. The thumbs came off already but the rest seem stuck on good. I had the best results when I let the paper and base coat dry completely before applying the top coat. I also used text from those flyers you get in your newspaper, and I think that the paper is a little thicker than normal newsprint so next time I am going to try plain newspaper with hopefully better results..

I am assuming that people may be having trouble for 2 reasons: too much basecoat or too thick paper.

I think that tissue paper might be a really cool alternative for this as well if you wanted some fun colour and texture! I am going to try that next. Thanks for the post it was great Cheesy

That looks awesome! I'm trying it right now. I'm picking out words I like and using those. Wink Thanks for the lovely idea. Cool
What I just found is that it does take a little while to dry, so you do have to be a bit patient and wait before putting on the top coat. I had to push it down on my nail for a couple of min. to get it to stay and then wait a little bit after that for it to be completely dry.
