We're not buried in snow here in Missouri but we've been having some nasty weather, sleet, snow, and ice! LOL.. I hate it when people freak out tho! I work at a grocery store, they all come in at once because of this "horrible STORM" is coming! LOL.. Then they all buy produce, milk, and freezer stuff. I'm like you guys don't make any sense at all.. if this storm is coming and your electicity goes out WHATS GOING TO HAPPEN.. yep your food is going to be all gone!
Then they can just put it outside! Haha but I agree with you about it being silly to freak out. When I went to Aldi the other day (just to do normal grocery shopping) they literally had NO produce (the main reason I went there) and the only bread left was hotdog buns.
I'm glad I sent yesterday, since there's no way I'd be getting out today!
I thought about sending some film negatives, but then I figured that everyone else must have a TON of them like I do.

I work at Aldi! Smiley It was insanely busy yesterday- our sales were $65,000. I don't know why people get so scared either...especially since here in Jersey, we haven't had more than 5 inches of snow in years. & they go to the store & stock up as if they were going to get snowed in for weeks!

Also, I received from ehinders, but won't be able to post pics til tomorrow. I got scared when I saw the size of the envelope because I thought I had misread the post & that the envelope I sent was too small! (She said she just didn't want to bend the larger papers.)

I have always wanted to make my own paper, my guy looked at me like I was crazy though when I said I needed to do it in the blender. You will have to show us when you make some!

Here's my package from curiousfae!  Thanks for all the awesome stuff!  I really would never have thought of keeping cancelled stamps...  I love everything!  And this "Happily Ever After" stack of paper is wonderful!  I've been oogling it at Michael's forever!

The origami paper is BEAUTIFUL!  Its still in the package in these pictures.

There's the whole sha-bang!  Lots of papers, stickers, bits and bobs, a wooden window frame (possibly my favorite thing in the package).

Thanks again curiousfae!!!   Grin

I also love those little punches (the green thing) Cheesy

I tear off every stamp on every envelope--they come in handy for so many projects!

I also love the wooden window--it can go goth or garden or...wow!

nice collection of papers! such variety--I am glad that some of the manufacturers are making smaller packs of papers for ATC's and small works--who uses up a whole 16" page? Cheesy

Yeah - I find myself with tons of little pieces left over from 12 x 12 pages.  The scrapbook I keep for my school's music department is 12 x 12 but for most other projects its just too big!

I already used some of my goodies!  I was working on my altered journal last night and found the perfect goodies (feathers) for a page out of this amazing envelope!   Cheesy

Love love love that fairy tale paper. Smiley They have one with a faerie on it in that series and it is what the tooth faerie uses to write notes back to the children on Wink
Everyone is getting such great hauls. I wish I would have put more scrap book paper in my packages now.
Oh well, there is always personal swaps if everyone is happy.
